Staff

Evangelist: Rob McCorkle

Bible Teacher: Randy LeBaron

Missionaries:

Music Leader: Danielle Sutton

Young Adult Leader: Rob Hoose

Rob Hoose has been coming to Cattaraugus Family camp since 2005 when his wife Reverend Megan Hoose lead teens with Pastor Randy Lebaron. Since that first camp Megan and Rob have added to teens of their own (Jessup 15 and Aaron 13) that have been going to camp their entire lives (Aaron started at just a few weeks old). This year Rob is leading the young adult bible study exploring the book of Job and the gospels. He is looking forward to another great year of camp.

Teen Leaders: Will Sutton

Hey camp family, I’m Will Sutton. I’ve been attending camp since I was born. This will be my 5th year doing teens (that doesn’t seem real). I work at the Huron Area Technical Center in Bad Axe, Michigan as a Student Supervisor. I’ve been on the path of working with teens for quite some time now. It’s definitely been what God called me to do, and he keeps me on that path even when I find it difficult. I love working with the teens and helping establish a good foundation for their relationships with God. Let’s have another amazing camp week.

Teen Leaders: Robby Sutton

Robby will be co-leading the teens with his older brother, Will, again this year as the Bible teacher. After teaching in the school system for two years, Robby has returned to his own education by pursuing a MA in Classical Education with Hillsdale College and has just completed his first year of the program. He currently works for the Hillsdale K-12 Education Office, where he has done extensive work in the research and organization of a textbook of Western History. During camp, he is looking forward to discussing theology, playing some tabletop games, and participating in pickup sports, especially Ultimate Frisbee. Grace of God the Father and the peace which comes through Jesus Christ to all the Catt Camp family.

Children’s Leaders: Karl & Laura Sisson

Laura and Karl Sisson are excited to lead our children’s program for the 14th year. They consider it pure joy to provide a fun-filled learning experience each morning that includes music and singing, relatable Bible stories, hands-on crafts and activities, snacks, and recreation. This year’s theme is Stellar where the children will discover how they can shine Jesus’ love and hope in their everyday lives. The Sisson family lives in nearby Houghton, NY where Karl serves in leadership at Houghton University and Laura teaches at nearby Fillmore Central School. They thoroughly enjoy spending time with their family and watching their four active children (Carter, Zach, Isaiah & Lily) participate in a variety of college and high school pursuits.

Nursery: Courtney Krupa-Hiller

Courtney may not have grown up coming to camp in Cattaraugus but she is no stranger to camp life! Courtney was born and raised in the Nazarene church (the sister denomination to First Methodism) and spent every summer of her life either attending or working at her Christian camp up in the Hudson Valley. First invited to camp by Chris O’Brien (the same summer she started dating her now husband Adam) who would’ve thought that Camp Catt would become such a special place for her! After spending over a decade in early childhood education both within churches, schools and nannying privately for families Courtney is thrilled to be using her skills and knowledge of early childhood development to help create a space at camp that parents not only feel safe bringing their littles to but that their littles love to come to! She’s so grateful for God’s hand guiding her to this exact place in time and for getting to be the first touch point for these kids who will grow up here at camp knowing and learning about the love of God.
